Coilovers??

WTH!! I just got off the phone with KW and none of there systems are for the Sedan!! Coupes only, or you void the warranty! I guess everyone that is running them and sedans is at your own risk. This applies to v1's as well as v3's. I have read a lot of good things about them and wanted to go with them or Stance. So I called Stance to make sure they were okay with their systems on a sedan. They stated "no problem as long as it's not an AWD".

Needless to say looking for input from you all about other options? I have looked at the list of possible options posted here but find it in conflict with the manufacturer KW. Plus I haven't found a whole lot of feed back from what us sedan guys are running. Plus a fair amount of retailers are saying yes the KW's are good for the Sedan in contradiction to the manufacturer.

I would appreciate any and all help. The car is going to be a DD plus spend close to 20 days a year at the autoX/track.

Rotor - A quick search brought this:

There are reviews for many of these in the...wait for it...suspension review section. LOL

Also, I have been in contact with John Kim from Stance USA and he confirmed that they have coilovers for our application.

It's the one they make for the G35X. Part #: St-v35-ss

I've done a fair share of research on different coilovers for the sedans as I had issues with my BC's. To me, I really like Tein's offerings, the Street Flex and Flex Z are very appealing coilovers. And, I hear nothing but good things about Stance's offerings.

If I were you, avoid BC.

Check out Fortune Auto. They make coils for the G Sedan, and they're a great company.

KSport makes coilovers for the sedan - Ksport Adjustable Coilover Systems, Camber Kits and Suspension Products | Ksport Store

I have them and they're great!

In the event you had to send one back for a warranty claim, how would they know if they were on a coupe or sedan?

Koni doesn't list the sedan as compatible with the 370Z / G37 coupe parts, but they fit.....

The main issue w/ the KWs on the sedans is they drop pretty deep in back even at the highest setting. In order to get a drop that's easier to live w/ for daily driving most KW sedan drivers have to buy the rear spring extenders from KW, and by doing this it voids the warranty. I think it takes the shock out of it's recommended operating range so damper life may be shortened, but that's just my guess.

There's quite a few good options for RWD G sedans, in the KW price point RS-R makes some nice sets

Not much feedback on these, but Bilstein makes very good sets too

Sorry OP!!!

I thought you were after COs for an X not RWD. That link I posted doesn't necessarily apply to your application.

I posted a fairly comprehensive list of coil-overs in the suspension forum. I need to look into the Flex Z and the upcoming Tanabe/Koni sets and add them.
