Failed LED's in Taillights?

I'm sure it's a common problem. I have 1-2 that have failed and want to replace the taillights.

Anyone have experience with the aftermarket vendors on eBay for these?

the depo tail lights offer a looks upgrade and have pretty good quality. I haven't had any issues, and also haven't heard about anyone have any issues with them either.

Thanks for the quick reply and recommendation. I'll see if anyone else chimes in over the next couple of days and if not, I'll pick up a set of those and give some feedback in this thread when I install them.

So in looking at my tail lights, I don't have several failed LED's as I thought. It's only 1 and it's at the 10 o'clock position on the driver's side. So I'm hesitating to plonk $350+ for two new tail lights to fix one failed LED. I may be borderline OCD, but I'm not crazy.....

Has anyone attempted a replacement of a single LED in these tail light clusters?

no need to spend that much....replacement OEM taillights are about 50-100 dollars each on ebay/from wreckers... even for one led, way less trouble than opening them, replacing the led and resoldering and resealing....

for example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2008-2015-I...Condition=3000

^ +1. get used, polish it, and it's a fairly easy DIY job to replace them.

Piggybacking on this since I want to avoid making a new thread.

So when my car is on/engine off, headlights on, all the LEDs are illuminated.

When I turn the engine off, it looks like 1 or 2 LEDs are out...slightly flicker even. Any ideas something electrical or with fuse by chance?

Are you referring to brake led segments being out? Post some pics so can see what the issue is. And no, it's not a fuse issue. Fuse is it either works or doesn't.
