Security Indicator Light
I have a 2008 g37s coupe
and today I started the car and noticed a red car light with a key inside.
I found out that it was the security indicator light.
and read on the manual
***The light blinks when the ignition switch is in
the LOCK position. This function indicates the
security system equipped on the vehicle is
operational.
If the security system is malfunctioning, this
light will remain on while the ignition switch is
in the ON position. For additional information,
see “SECURITY SYSTEMS” later in this section.
So im guessing the security system is malfunctioning.
HOW can I get this light to cut off?
I do not want to take it to the stealership because they charge a lot of money for nothing.
Has anyone experience this light and know how to get rid of it?
