After Infniniti oil change...now HID fogs aren't turning on!

This Monday I went in for my first initial oil change at my Infiniti service.
I ended up picking my G37xS up on Tuesday since they were detailing it and couldn't have it ready by the end of the day.
Since it was daytime, I didn't realize that the fogs were not on until yesterday...I haven't drove it during the night before yesterday.
I asked my wife if she noticed them being out and she couldn't remember.
I'm not sure actually when they stopped working.

The switch indicates that they are on, but they physically are not.
What could have happened?
I'm thinking the fuse is blown, since both sides are out.

Should I contact Infiniti?
Not sure if I should, since I've upgraded the fogs to HIDs and they might consider this a void to the warranty.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Lets see you placed an aftermaket HID system on your car and asking us why they are out? you should be able to pull them a part and see what the issue is if you did the work your self.

So I'm not understanding your Post!

To explain my situation in more detail...

The HID kit was installed over 3 months ago and I have never experienced any issues with it.
I don't think there is a problem/issue with the kit itself.
I did not install the kit, but had the install done by Royal, Wheel & Tire...local shop who has done most of my installation mods.

I was researching/reaching out for any help on why they are not functioning after my service at Infiniti.

I "think" that the issue "might" be a blown fuse...needed confirmation from members if this could be the problem.

As far as pulling them apart...I don't have the resources available at this moment.
I have no garage to work in and it's raining sleet with temperatures below 40 degrees here.
So, before I attempted to "rip" everything apart, I wanted to know what others thought about the issue I'm experiencing.

I was also wondering if I should report this to Infiniti and let them know...risking the warranty coverage due to the HID upgrade.

Thank you!

Contacting Infiniti will not do anything for you...

Inspect them, possible they got wet in the carwash??

Thanks for the suggestion.

Infiniti actually hand washed my G37xS, so most likely the pressure wash can be ruled out.
Don't think the car wash is the problem...I've had numerous washes at Waves car wash already.

I'll have John @ Royal, Wheel & Tire take a look.
Hopefully it will be an easy fix!

Anymore suggestion...?

Just check the fuses yourself .... not sure why people post "should I check the fuses" ... heck yeah, that's the first place to start.

If not the fuse, then check the HID relay "if there is" if not inspect both ballast then bulb.
Very rare for the ballast gave out at the same time, but it's possible check the wiring also.
Good luck.....should be easy task

You wont risk losing your warranty on the car.
However, you will not get warranty covered on you lighting electrical circuit.

Sounds like a coincidence to me.
Do you need to take them apart to check a fuse??
