Bat's overlays 3/10 vs 6/10?

Does anyone have comparison pics of the two? Ore even just of the 3/10? The ones on Bat's website are not clear enough and I did a search but everyone seems to have gone 6/10.

I had a light tint full overlay on my headlamp done, but had it removed due to heat issues. I'm leaning towards the 3/10 (for subtlety) , GTR cutouts (to deal with the heat), but I would appreciate a comparison pic, nonetheless.

I believe BAT himself is the one that said if you're going with the GTR style to go 6/10 because the 3/10 are not even noticable with the GTR sytle.

Yes, I've also been told that 3/10 is too light, won't be very noticeable. I have the 6/10 and am very happy. Actually no, I wish they're darker sometimes. Good luck with the install.

Are the cutouts on the GTR style already cut out beforehand, or do you have to do it yourself after you put it on the headlight? I've noticed some people's cutouts look different.

They're pre-cut. It might have been different from positioning during the install.

it's not as dark in person though and i think it's 35% . it's actual paint and not overlays.

I wish Bat's overlays were more grayish in color. Every pic I see, his film looks brownish to me. I wonder if he would charge much If I were to send him some film so he could cut it with his pattern?

^why don't you just buy some from him and trace it since you have the film?

^^ I want it cut perfectly. I'm assuming the GTR style overlays are cut by computer like those machines at a clear bra installer.

Bruin, when you recieved your overlays were were they cut perfectly, or could you tell they were cut by hand?

I have the GTR style tails, pics are in the media section somewhere. The GTR style lights have 2 circles cut out where the lights are, as opposed to just all covered.

I'm not sure if they were cut by machine. I know that Bat used to cut them by hand but he might have bought a machine for it. By just looking at it, if I had the overlays, I'm pretty sure I can just trace it and duplicate it. Unless you have shaky hands?
