Just received an email back from my Sacramento (CA) dealer telling me they do NOT have the recent fix for the call waiting issue, but will let me know if/when they do! Seems like they might be releasing it in certain areas over time? Strange?

This is done quite a bit in software industry. They release it in certain areas at a time, so if there is an issue they can pinpoint it and also wont get swamped with tech support if there is a problem.

My local dealer in Cincinnati hasn't heard about any fix. He tried to blame it on my phone (BB Storm).

Did you mention the tsb to them? Print this thread out and take it to them.

Smile Update

Just went in for an oil change and they upgraded my software. My 2010 now has call waiting! Btw my service advisor didn't know anything. I asked him a question about the Esther Oil since my car has been having some rough mornings and he gave me the Scooby Doo look.

He had to go check with the mechanics in the back to find out what it was. He says he worked at Lexus for 20 years sohe wasnt really familiar with Infiniti's. Just smh and walked off. You're a service advisor so you should definitely know these things.

i dont know but call waiting works on all the new 2011 G25 and G37's we have. I tested it out and works fine.

Verizon phones still suck b/c they mess with the bluetooth on the phones

Did you test cars with Nav? (I think this is a Nav only issue). Although maybe mainly limited to 2010's, not sure.

Anyhow, I'm glad to report that I got mine fixed today and it now works. They used the Nissan fix on mine as infiniti's wasn't yet available.

went to dealer for oil change and inquired about this call waiting software update..he had no clue about what I was talking about so i gave him the referenced TSB # from this thread. Well, after researching it further with the tech guys, he miraculously found it and it's available! Funny since only a week earlier, I emailed them and they also said they had no info on this! Said I had to make another appt to come back to get it done. These dealers really have no clue, whatsoever!
No rush since I barely use my phone while driving so maybe next oil change I'll do it.
