PSA: Check your adhesive!
While I am not one to bump dead threads- and I really did not want to start a new thread, I thought it wise to suggest to anyone who has these roof spoilers to check the double-sided tape adhesive! Driving down the interstate this morning (to stretch my G's legs ) I was suddenly stunned with a loud banging/flapping noise. By the time I reacted I saw the roof spoiler fly off. Luckily nobody was close enough behind me to get hit.
After almost 3 years installed I really can not complain. I do not know if the adhesive failed because of age or because I had the spoiler installed on the glass instead of the metal roof. Either way I doubt I will replace it, but ya never know.
Check your spoilers- specifically, ensure that adhesive tape is holding solid!
