#16
no what he means is driving at night. i had 10 percents on my old acura and it was a bitch at drive at night cause you couldnt see anything out the windows. all you could see was the headlights. so def dont get too dark or i know you will regret it like i did.

I went with 20%, lower than I originally had considered, because the stone interior it very light. But lately I've been thinking about re-doing it lighter, or removing altogether. Car has started to look too blacked out for me, esp when the darker wheels went on...

Sounds like you had 10% on windshield? I think any tint on windshield is far too impractical/unsafe. JMO

Yes, those thousands of posts on the subject often defend the practice because “it keeps the car cooler,” or “it cuts down glare,” and my favorite, “I can see just fine at night.” But in reality that’s not the reason most owners install illegal tints. They just want their car to look “cool.” IMO that’s not a good enough reason to take such chances.

Being pulled over should not be your main concern. From a safety standpoint driving at night with illegal tint could increase the likelihood of an accident up to and including loss of life, even your own.

And honestly, also to give you a little bit extra to wring your hands over.

It'd be nice if Infiniti would have done some tinting from the factory...
