I test fitted the GTSPEC, but it seems that the brackets don't fit due to a small pipe restriction on the Q50.

If you look on the left (passenger's side), you will notice a thin tube that runs down to the area where the bracket fits. This is the same for the driver's side.
I never received a response back from GTSPEC after several attempts of contact.
I ended up selling the GTSPEC FSTB without the nuts and ended up purchasing the Tanabe FSTB.
That Tanabe FSTB sure is pretty. I considered it before I purchased my Cusco FSTB. I ended up going with a satin black powdercoat on the bar and the brackets.
And Zahy, that job you did on that bar is excellent work, looks SO proper under there!
Completely agree. This is what an OEM bar would probably look like. Better, actually, which is the point. The Cusco bar looks great in that finish, because of its edgy, flat design. The fatter, rounder design of the GT Spec probably can't pull this off as well. My only gripe with Cusco is its placement over the engine cover.
dragion (or anyone else), were you able to purchase the hardware kit from GTSpec? If not, what did you do? I'm in the same boat with a used bar. Seller did not send hardware. I tried PMing him hoping he may still have it but I'm not optimistic and looking for solutions.
What exactly do you need? Just the nuts and bolts that secure the bar to the brackets at each end? If so, I have a spare set from my old bar just sitting around. Happy to send them to you or give you the specs. You can get the hardware at any old school hardware store.

GT Spec tower nuts are somewhat unique. They have a smaller diameter neck that sits inside the holes on the brackets, and then the threaded nut on top of that. If you don't use them, then your bracket can slip.
