Thinking about buying a third car

It really does. Me, too. Those two guys give straight-up reviews that I can completely relate to. And everything about the NSX is so-o-o appealing. Even the interior.
Sadly, you're right about price. I spent a few minutes, enough to come away with $35k being the only logical entry-point, and $40k more likely... as an entry point. Yikes! These cars are holding their value is an uncommon sort of way. Oh well.
Just for giggles, here's their old review on the G37S Coupe 6MT.

Why not something like this :-)
This video makes me want to take out a second mortgage....

eh brand new 911 C4 ... I can't stand watching these videos for exotic cars, pushing me to take a second mortgage too and to the total insanity of wasting way too much money on cars. From my naive financial point of view spending big money on cars truly is meant to be a luxury, since this is essentially just like burning the money to ash over years.
2009 Cayman/Boxster is getting to the under $30k mark. If I don't have to consider getting my two preteen girls riding in the car with me then Cayman/Boxster are more affordable and suitable choices. Well, the girls probably have outgrown the tiny back seats in 911 already and I'm not into racing so the power of 911 is likely to be wasted most of the time. Even my G only gets pushed a few seconds on average per day on roads.
The most difficult task is to get my wife agree that buying a 3rd car is not a totally crazy idea. I just began working on it..

I have a soft spot for Mid 90's Japanese Sports cars. Supra TT, 300ZX TT, RX7. Finding clean examples is getting tougher and tougher, but there is a market.
At this point, parts won't be much cheaper than an older 911, but they should be very reliable overall (maybe not the RX). Those cars were pretty overbuilt.
From a driving standpoint, the 1993 RX-7 is a very rewarding drivers car.

Nah, those and it's twin (Stealth) never did anything for me. FWD chassis :-(.
Plus it was wicked heavy.
Supra's are crazy expensive, but 300's and RX's can be obtained pretty cheap. There was a 93 RX-7 Touring with 39K on it that sold locally for about 13K.
Here's an example: Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo Coupe 2 Door | eBay

[QUOTE=Rochester;3968475]Hey, that would be a nice toy! Or a 2nd Gen Toyota MR2.

I loved these! Finding a clean Turbo is very tough though. You could find a N/A and then convert it.

Ah, the Stealth and the 3000GT. Two relatively timeless sports car designs.
The car that always made my heart skip a beat was the redonkulously heavy Toyota Supra A70 (1986 - 1992). Absolutely love that design.
Actually, as I look this up, it was only the automatic which was 2-ton. The 5MT was very reasonably weighted.

I know it's a heavy cruiser, but I have very fond childhood memories of the 84' Nissan 300ZX Turbo Anniversary Edition. I remember seeing one at the dealer when my Dad bought a N/A 300ZX. The digital dash, talking voice and gadgets everywhere
