I know of two members here in the Sedan forum who have the Tommy Kaira Hebi Bebi Shift ****. I've seen that in person, too. None too fond of the overall design, or the odd little turtle logo, but the heft is really nice. Can't deny that. A heavier **** is a nice change.
Thank you sir, great choice on your **** as well. I really like the titanium collar, I should get one to replace the cheap rubber collar they supply with the NISMO ****.

This lathewerks guy has some interesting stuff, if he can produce this **** with grey leather (ad sans contrast stitching), I'll be his next customer

Yeah he does

Chris is a great guy to work with. I don't have one of his ***** for my G--yet--but had them on my LGT and Trans Am.

Good thread, man.

Pretty sure if you give Chris measurements, he can make you a boot ring specifically for the NISMO ****. A Ti ring would look fantastic with the NIMSO.

Weird not to see anyone weigh in with their Tommy Turtle.

LEGO, nice pieces sir!

Lathewerks still offers the "piston" type **** with leather wrap, but he can only do black leather

Got me searching for leather fabric, think this would look bananas:

Vinyl Grey/Silver Upholstery Fabric by KOVI

Hard to tell if it would match the darker grey of the stone interior though ... decisions, decisions...

I've had titanium nismo for a while then sold it and went back to stock - nismo gets too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. Maybe not as bad as aluminum and stainless steel but still not very pleasant. How do people live with shift ***** that are not wrapped in leather?

I have no garage at work. Just got tired of the whole too cold\too hot thing and went back to stock, but to each their own I guess.

The leather looks cool, but here is the catch, it isn't glued to the shifter, so it moves around. More like rotates. I didn't like it.

Not all of us work at home and keep their car in the garage all day Even that little 1/4" of stainless steel in the polymer **** got hot. My car frequently reads as high as 110 sitting in the sun. Granted that's the cars thermometer, but it's still f'ing hot.

^good to know, thanks again.

Since he can only do black leather wrap, I'll likely ask if he can supply the above shifter while leaving the insert for the leather blank ... just not sure how confident I am in installing (cutting & gluing) the above leather myself...

Could you send him a piece of leather?
