2011 G37X - Help me with advice pls
Greetings!
I drive a Honda CRV right now and I'm planning to buy 2011 Infiniti G37X in a day or two. When i did test drive i just loved everything about the car. But i kinda felt a throttling noise, i could hear that with all windows closed. Is it common among all G37?
Though I'm getting Certified Pre-Owned, I would like to know the maintainence cost too.
Please advise
Thanks!

Not exactly sure what you mean by 'a throttling noise'. They do run a little bit louder on a cold start-up, but that fades to quiet after a few moments.
Maintenance costs vary. Take a peek at the recommended service guide in the glovebox (or download from InfinitiUSA website). Costs can be high if you follow it to the letter and can be higher yet if you have it serviced by the Infiniti dealer exclusively. Costs will be significantly lower if you can do some things yourself. Example would be cabin filters. My local dealer wanted something crazy like $85 to change it. Its a $7 filter at NAPA and 20 minutes of your time with minimal mechanical effort. Ditto with wiper blades and tire rotations.
Even though its CPO, its still a significant investment, so you should have the car looked over by an independent mechanic before buying.

CPO...doesn't mean anything ...Check the Car Closely.
Do you hear a rumbling noise at 60mph ...low pitch? That is fixed easily as it's a TSB. The rear driveshaft has to be removed and re installed.
All I can say is look over the car very carefully before you buy. CPO is a gimmick and the dealer rarely actually inspects the car at all.
If you are hearing a noise investigate it thoroughly
After you buy it's too late.

How many miles on it?
I have had my 2010, 2 wheel drive, for a little over 4-1/2 years. It has 32,000 miles on it. I do my own periodic maintenance. The car has been trouble free, with no rattles, etc.
I have a tight garage so I back it out before the wife gets in. She mentioned the noise coming from the engine when it was fairly new and the car had just been started, I couldn't hear it from inside the car.
The few times I got out to listen to it it sounded like a pos for the first minute or so then it was like normal.
I haven't noticed that noise for several years, but I seldom get out of the car after starting it.
The reason I have owned the car so long is because it fits all my needs as far as handling, braking, passing power, trunk space and comfort.
I bought a fully loaded 2014 SRX, for the wife, last year and I still prefer the G37.

Like GAWD said, if you go to the dealer for maintenance costs are insane. They quoted me $250 to clean the throttle bodies on a recommended service. Its an easy job that only takes about 30 mins and a $5 can of throttle body cleaner.
