Installed logo projectors in the courtesy lights. $37 shipped from WindFireAuto.com. Swaps in with about 30 seconds of effort.
Useless? Yes, of course. Cool? Undeniably so. And still a personal mod, because 99% of the time it's just for me to admire getting in and out of the car at night.
Hey Buddy, does or will that take anything away from the illuminated sills?

I don't have illuminated sills, and if I were to choose between the two, I'd take the OEM illuminated sills over this any day. However, if you were to have both, then by my thinking that would be too much of the same thing in the same area. Know what I mean? Too each his own, though.

Cheap, fun, little mod. It's a keeper.
Fortunately I do, though I do like it....I also believe it would be overkill. Yes, nice mod for those w/o.

My car came with the illuminated sills. I think they're overrated. When it's dark outside, about the only time you notice them, the interior lights totally drown them out. I'm glad I didn't pay for them, I would have been disappointed

That was brutally honest. Interesting analysis on the illuminated sills, Lego.
I don't have them, and just not interested enough to wire them in. These projectors, however... Inexpensive and easy.

Eh, I bought my G used....I would of never paid for the option either, buying new. They do look cool on my wifes Juke! Redish orange stands out on black leather.
I don't care about the illuminated sills either, not something important, I'd rather have side markers TBH, at least those do come in handy during the drive.

My inlaws get here on Tuesday. I leave for Mexico on monday. Really bummed out I'm going to miss 3/4 of their visit
Well my wife works for her parents and I have everything delivered to their shop. Also my wife had back surgery last week so she is staying at her parents for a few weeks because our house is a split level. That means I'm bouncing back and forth for the time being.
Cleaned my throttle bodies and put in new air filters and put in the door light deal and swapped my interior lights to LED and put in GTR frosted lenses.
And while I'm somewhere where I get decent signal here is few more pics.
thanks for the photos. interesting idea, although i'm not sure if it would work with some exterior colors. maybe white or black, definitely not blue slate or red. what color is your ride?
more importantly; you need an interior detail stat! no mod looks good with a messy backdrop.
