Pretty sure that's Lakeshore Slate. Either way, you're right. It's beautiful.

I think lakeshore is just a bit lighter and more blue. Blue slate is a weird color, it can look gray, blue, purple depending on the angle and light. I actually just looked out the window and there's a lakeshore g35 sedan parked next to me today haha.

Both cars are blueslate.

BTW ... I managed to get my JDM tails for almost free. I traded with someone in the forums that wanted USDM tails.

The only cost was international shipping and some down time on your car while the parts are in transit.

I stand corrected. It's still beautiful.

Kind of weird... I passed on a 2009 6MT Sedan some years ago because it was Blue Slate. And there was a Blue Slate Sedan back then in my office park that I used to stalk. It just didn't appeal to me like the old Lakeshore Slate did. But I tell you, if I had seen pictures of that '09 looking like these pictures here, things might have turned out quite differently.

Anyway, back to topic: those JDM tails look gorgeous against the blue.

I keep looking at them just haven't wanted to spend the $400/$500 and wait three months. But... I still may in the future.

Back when I had an Integra, the hot thing was to swap the red/amber taillights for the JDM or newer US "all red" taillights. Why would I give up my G's stock "all red" tails?

Don't see the big deal with these, to each thier own. I bet if USDM was amber, people would be trying to tint the whole lense red to be different. I'll keep my solid red lenses-and for that price.... facepalm.

Everyone has their own personal cost-2-value on mods. I put this one at about $150, which means I'm out.

The jdm smoked tails are the way to go, they look way better than the nonsmoked jdms. Just my opinion of course but I have them on my graphite shadow sedan and they look awesome.

I want the EU tail lights, rear fog light, and clear headlight corners so that my car is EU spec. Now THAT would be cool.
