Welp. I started to unmodify my car in preparation of giving it to the wife and as wife's normally do now I have a Stock G and a new car in the driveway for her. Looks like I'll be modding all over again .

I've made it 51 months without taking my car back to the dealership for service, but I finally broke down and made an appointment for next Saturday. Backup camera isn't working and the clock light is flickering. Both of these should be covered under warranty.

The logistics are such a pain.

Every year at this time, when the temps hover in the 50's (F), I swear there's a noticeable difference in the car. The throttle feels sharper, the powertrain has a little more grunt, and the exhaust takes on a nasty growl.

Yesterday I was driving about 30 miles outside the city for my kid's soccer game, and the ride was so much fun. I found myself leaving it in 4th gear so that I could play with the throttle, charging through the winding hillsides, feeling the power build and enjoying how the exhaust filled the space around me. Match that with the beautiful, changing colors of our Western NY Fall foliage... it was a very rewarding moment.

No radio, just car. Autumn, FTW.

+1 on this.. I have also experienced a noticeable amount of added pep in these cooler temps. The little bump in performance is a very welcome little bonus to what is already my favorite season. Perfect time of year for road trips, casual drives, going to soccer games, you name it....

Time to get out and drive em' before the snow flies gents... (for some of us anyway)

Hey guys, quick question. I need to go back to stock springs because I'm selling the car. I have a friend who offered some free awd sedan springs and I'm thinking about installing them. Is there really a difference in springs for AWD VS RWD?

I think the spring rates are slightly different, but I doubt it would affect the car that much. Might sit a little higher too.

I'm hearing this rattle/chirping sound in my car, but it's really quiet and I can't pinpoint where it's coming from or what it could be. I thought it might be my suspension but when I roll down the windows I don't really hear it any louder. In fact the wind noise covers up the rattle. It's nothing in my glove box, center armrest storage compartment, sunglass holder, or side door pockets. Sounds like it could be coming from behind the dash or center stack... It's driving me nuts! Sounds like something is loose but I have no idea what it is!

Sometimes it's something as simple as the passenger side seat belt all twisted up, where the buckle is making noises against the plastic b-pillar.

Then there's the known problem of the center console lid squeaking while driving. That's pretty annoying.

The G37X has about 175 lbs more weight on the front wheels vs the Sport.
I suspect you might end up with a front high G37. The buyer may not notice or care.

My car also quietly chirps... Try driving without your elbow on the centre arm rest.
My latch or hinge has a slight squeak only when my arm is on it and I am going over some bumps.

Anyone here have a steering wheel with white stitching? How does it hold up overtime?

I'm being extremely indecisive between black or white stitching on my custom steering wheel. I'm thinking white stitching will get dirty way too fast?

Doesn't sound like it's coming from the center console/arm rest, sounds like it's coming from behind the dash it's going to drive me insane!

Could be the famous windshield/cowling squeak. Does it get louder when it's cooler? Search DIY for some ideas.
