G performance - I'm really loving it

So thanks to some replies to an earlier posting I made, I finally got over the fear of REALLY driving the G, and I am just floored by the engine/tranny performance at the limits (I'm essentially still a newbe here). No mods, bone stock G37xS, and in all honesty (don't laugh), when pushed to the limit, the torque of the engine working in beautiful symphony with the 7AT actually reminds me of my street bike I rode many many years ago.

That is all.

Glad that you are enjoying your G37xS!
I too recently got mine and have done some simple mods...now the fun has doubled!

Just freeing up the air intake tubes with the silicon ones and aFe Pro S drop in filters has improved the sound & performance.

Upgrading the suspension with thicker rear sway and lowering on Swifts has created the way an "S" should look & handle.

If you stay on this forum...you "will" be pulled in.
There is no escape from modding the G!

Yep, these cars are fun to push the limits with. It's been about 6 weeks since our G was smashed and I can't wait to get behind that sweet VQ again.
Butternut, just beware of the 4DSC sticker, it's a cheap ticket to "modsville".
I thought I was getting a $4 sticker but it turned out to be a $2500 bait & switch
I'm sure Rochester will chime in w/ all the details
BTW, welcome to the club (but you'd better leave your wallet at the door)

The secret to every good magic trick is a willingness to believe.

From my experience, the "trick" isn't only in my mind!

I fell for that 4DSC "Jedi Mind Trick"

+1 on that. Plus the G can really settle down and put a lot of miles on without making anyone feel beat up at the end of the day.

Nice not having to worry about regular shop visits or trips to the dealer, a huge plus for these cars!

This is the only car I have had that is comfortable enough to drive every day and is almost as much fun as my old S2000.
