From the beginning it seemed suspicious. Overly detailed reviewing of the exhaust with plenty of videos. No one puts that much effort into describing how much they like something to people, unless they're trying to sell it.
Sure enough, a few posts later comes a price tag.

its not, and i sure as hell aint ignorant because ive heard several muffler deletes that sound like a bunch of ****ing civics with fart cans, and this one sounds mint. im not taking money out of your wallet if i were to buy it. and thats not even saying im definitely going to buy it, depends on price. so now i have to ask, you mad bro??..

Sorry to bring up an old thread but wanted to see where this ended up. Depending on how much material and how its done and the type of material, $430 may not be out of range from reality (although I agree it is high for a straight pipe kit. I'd think somewhere around $200-$250 for a true out of the box bolt in kit). Yes you can cut off what you have and bolt or weld on some straight pipe. But if this is going all the way back to the existing bolt in piece plus if the pipes are truly unique and hard to get, well that cost starts adding up plus in reality shops look at a 40% margin. Of course I'd rather source everything myself and do it myself but if the leg work is already done, if custom bends are already done and you can already appreciate the end result then $430 is looking more attractive.
Again first I'd love to explore a complete parts list and would rather be a DIY but would be open to a bolt on part.
Last thing when comparing other exhaust set ups is the warranty. You may pay $750 plus for other exhaust systems (more material due to mufflers etc) but they come with long warranties and they stand behind the product since they are long time established corporate companies. Please keep that in mind if you are asking $430 for a bolt on straight pipe kit.

The pricing will be less than $430? ... You have got to be F*in' kidding me right now??? This is a basic muffler delete mod that can be done at any muffler shop for $80 bucks or less. Stop treating people like their fools and acting like "less than $430" is some incredible deal for a couple of pieces of metal piping and 2 chrome exhaust tips.
Don't be fooled by this people, I had mine done for $80 bucks, a bunch of the fellas in town who own G's had theirs done for around $80 - $100 bucks, and it sounds EXACTLY the same. Nobody in their right mind would be fooled by this guy into thinking this craps worth anywhere near the $430 ballpark.
I could'nt even believe my eyes when I was reading this .... lmaooooo "less than $430" ... Yea , Nice try buddy!

Looks like just a muffler delete. Pop your stock mufflers off, go on a 30 minute drive and then decide if it's something you want to pursue for $100 at a shop to custom weld some pipes where the mufflers were.
True straight pipes or cat back straight pipes are going to result in some intense drone...If you're looking for a custom solution, talk to your local muffler/exhaust shops and get a quote.
Piping you're going to want is 2.25-2.5 and you definitely want the magnaflow resonated X-pipe. All you need to decide is what mufflers or resonators (instead of mufflers) you'd like.
**Most shops use 409SS. Surface rust is more prevalent than 304SS (Ark, Motordyne, Fast Intentions...)
