So i can't decide if I like the look of the chrome trunk lip painted black or wrapped as well as the trim. Any opinions on this for those who have seen it in person in Liquid Platinum.

Here's a simple DIY for the window trim, I'd do that first then see if you want to move on to bigger wrap projects.

Great, thanks for that. I think I'm leaning more towards paint than wrap Im just trying to decide if i like blacked out trim on the Liquid Platinum color. I think I'm going to pain the grille, door trims, trunk lip and the chrome inside the lights. Would that look odd lol?

Don't paint the door trim, the wrap is much easier and it will match the center door pillars perfectly as they are wrapped from the factory, NOT painted.

The other pieces you mentioned are easy to paint if you decide to do that, but the window trim should be wrapped.

Today, 5/5/2016 I made the first step by de-badging the Infiniti and silly dealership decals

you must be from the future lol

Heres a list of some Mods I would like to do. Im still deciding on the specifics so look for updates along the way

Power Mods
Magnaflow or Flowmaster exhaust. Im thinking I'm going to just attach a universal exhaust on instead of replacing the whole system. Any recommendations would be great.
K&N or Injen CAI

Magnaflow has a nice stock oem sleeper look but there sound is great in my opinion as for the intake both are great brands which produce about the same performance enhancement

Handling Mods
Hotchkis 22443 Sport Sway Bar Set for Nissan G35X/G37X (AWD) 08+
Any Other suggestions would be appreciated

Amazon.com: Hotchkis 22443 Sport Sway Bar Set for Nissan G35X/G37X (AWD) 08+: Automotive Amazon.com: Hotchkis 22443 Sport Sway Bar Set for Nissan G35X/G37X (AWD) 08+: Automotive
...
Tools you will need - a rachet set ,tourque wrench and some PB penetrating B'laster

Appearance Mods
Painted black trim- exterior
*
vinyl wrap might cost a bit more but comes out amazing! Here's a reference link to what I'm talking about ...

https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-cou...-graphite.html -- Aluminum graphite black trim- interior

De-badged (barely a mod lol)
De-badging actually may be considered a mod just a cosmetic one lol alot of people like to keep the Fuji infiniti emblem on there though

Led interior bulbs

very well known name brand and great prices*
http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/l...initi/g37.html

Weather tech floor mats
you can find these all over ebay easy search

Painted front grille

some people consider plasti dip (I'm not a huge fan) but it's cheap and you can always peel it off back to chrome if you want

Window tint- Still deciding on %

5% - crazy dark limo time
20% - fairly dark but not to crazy
30% - more of a classy light tint to the point where you can still see the inside of your car

Hope I was able to help out best of luck and keep us updated with pictures of any future mods! And lastly an official welcome to the forum as a newly purchased infiniti member

I paid $550 for the Tanabe axleback brand new on Amazon. The pop up in the classifieds every now and then for $300-400. They're a real nice pair of mufflers, tips are beautiful too.

Thank you, kind Sir.

I keep trying to tell people the Hotckis F&R AWD Sway Bars are by far the cheapest on TireRack.com! $352 shipped!

Hotchkis F&R Sway Bars - TireRack

Just make sure you're searching for the coupe sway bars, it won't come up for the Sedan.

They both have the same exact part number and will work on either the coupe or sedan. I purchased them from here, no regrets.

I may have to order these for my 2010 coupe X. From what I've read the install for these is fairly simple to do
