Rear spc camber question.

Hi,

Quick note, I bought a rear spc camber kit for my 2014 coupe from b2autodesign and when it came in I got two different camber arms. One was straight and the other one was curved. I called them about it and they said I should have gotten two straight arms and that spc packaged them wrong. So they sent me another spc rear arm (straight one).

After installing the two straight rear camber arms, I notice that it hits the sway bar over bumps and you can hear it touching each other on low speed (squeaky sound). My question is did I install the wrong camber arms? Should they be curved? The tech at the shop said it should be curved but did the Install anyway because I told them too and that b2autodesign said it should be straight.

Picture of the arm:

The arms for our car are the curved ones not straight. Take a look at photos if them in any thread in the suspension forum.

Ah crap. Yeah I figured they have to be curved. Let me get in contact with b2autodesign.

Wasn't our fault. SPC boxed them wrong. After the customer told us about the problem. We checked all our inventory and found three other kits missed boxed. We don't have the time to check every part that comes into our warehouse. We just hope that the manufacture has boxed there products correctly. We did inform SPC of the problem.

This customer has a Q60 coupe. Not a g37 coupe. SPC calls for the straight camber arm.

Specialty Products Company | SPC Alignment | The Automotive Alignment Leaders

We are working with the customer to figure out the problem.

Charles is saying my q60 comes with a straight factory arm so thats why he sent me a straight arm. But don't all factory arms come straight? He noted that according to the spc website, I should have part 72260, which he sent me. But when looking at pictures from other websites and on other threads. I notice that part 72260 is a curved arm not straight....

Look at this thread: https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...mber-arms.html

The 2014 q60 coupe is exactly the same thing as a g37 coupe. Its just rebadged.

If you take a quick note on ZSpeedPerformance post in that thread i posted above. He shows arms 72260 , 72280 which are both curved. And the oem arm is straight....

SO i should have received a curved arm not a straight one.

If you decide to return completely, NuGen Automotive has great prices on the spc's.

Correct the Q60 and G37 coupe are the same and take the same part number 72260. This is the part number I use for every customer that has ordered a SPC rear camber kit for a g37 coupe. I only ship 72280 if the customer has a G37 sedan. The 72260 is in fact a straight bar. Also shows on SPC website a straight bar.

Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm super confused. On most websites selling this kit and on this forum, all 72260 parts looks curved. B2autodesigns says its straight. Which one is it?

Does anyone have the straight spc rear camber arms installed on their car? If so, How did you modify it to not hit the sway bar?

I'll check mine when I get home, haven't opened the box yet lol

What I CAN confirm is that the Q60 is nothing more than a rebadged G37 Coupe. The cars are 100% identical.

Can anyone confirm this? ^

I'm seeing 72260 as a short curved arm in every other website, other vendors, and users who have them.
And 72280 is a longer curved arm.

B2autodesign and the spc website 72260 arm is straight.

Did spc change the arms up recently for it to be straight or what am I missing here?
