I'm about 25 1/2" all around from the wheel well to the ground. KEEP IN MIND I have 245/35 and 275/30 tires so I'm not stretching it with thin tires. If you have smaller tires, the car will actually sit even lower to the ground as well, but gives you an idea of how low i have my coils set.

+1...this would be ideal as the awd guys don't have any quality options out there when it comes to coils. (I don't consider the BC coilovers a quality product as every other set for the X has noise issues....went thru multiple sets of struts myself). I'm pretty sure a lot of the AWD would go for KWs if there is ample adjustment for ride height for the winters

They will work on the Sedan but the rears drop pretty low at their highest setting. KW sells extenders that will get the height up but unfortunately this will void warranty coverage
If you're planning on a drop in the 26" (from ground to fender arc) or lower range this will work without needing the extenders.

Thanks for the response that is unfortunate to hear. I dont want to slam my car, Just a half inch or so in the back and 1" in the front and enjoy the improved handling characteristics of coil overs. I feel like useing the 30mm spaces in the rear will decrease the travel distance of the spring, affect the dampening rate, and potentially lead to premature failure?
What other options do I have for the Sedan? I am still considering the KW's but I am not a fan of using car parts that weren't initially designed for my vehicle.
Thanks, Andrew

Take a look in the suspension forum. There's a big-a$$ list of sedan coil-overs stickied there. That'll be five dollars, please. I'll PM my PayPal info.

No, no and no. You'll affect the motion ratio slightly which will make the spring and damper feel softer. A wee bit softer. The spacer will affect the hub bearing/bushing more than the spring/damper.

A long list of coil overs doesn't help me I want know which ones are popular and will ride nice on a sedan. Like I said, I haven't ruled out the KW's.

They are a low cost coilover but are a JDM company w/ decent quality control, they utilize the factory upper shock mounts which is good, as many cheaper coilovers w/ pillow ball mounts can be an area that can cause noise issues. The Flex Z is similar to the Basis Z but has adjustable dampers.
