Rims didn’t fit

I ordered some 19’ staggered rims for my 08 coupe (sport) so of course the oem wheels being 19’ also and the offset not being that different I figured it should be fine, anyways I got a call and because of the slope of the spokes interfering with the brakes, the guy at audiocityusa.com said they won’t work and he’ll send over some ones for me to look at that will. Curious if anyone else has had this issue for the sport coupes and what rims I should take a look at to be sure they’ll fit

here are the rims I wanted: https://audiocityusa.com/shop/19-Sta...lack-Rims.html

i know there are other wheels threads but I couldn’t find
anything on this, sorry if I didn’t look hard enough, appreciate the help everyone <:

Yep, very common issue. The sport Akebono brakes are very large compared to many large caliper brake sets. There's many 20s that won't clear as well. You MUST confirm w/ the vendor prior to ordering any aftermarket wheels when you have the big Sport calipers. There is a template that you can send to a vendor if they can't confirm here~
https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...templates.html

And if you have a specific wheel in mind post it up in the wheel folder, maybe someone here has the same wheels (w/ the same specs) and can confirm that they clear.

Actually I did lay it out and the forums are here for the exact purpose you stated, getting help. Not being an *******. And I mentioned in my thread that I DID look. DIDNT find anything. And I’m not on here 24/7 so I don’t know how to maneuver through all the posts on here, clearly you’re trained in it so much because you spend your time nagging people trying to get help from the community who actually cares about helping each other. Take your negativity elsewhere. Sorry you’re a lonely no life loser who probably got cucked.

spacers will fix it easily if thats the wheels u like. most likely the front wheels could use some spacers to make it look better anyway

Ya, get some spacers.

Anything more than 5mm, you need to extend the lug studs. No big deal. Z1 sells them (that's where I got mine).

If you have the wheel specs (width & offset) that would be helpful, you might already be at the fender so spacing may not be an option but ???

Forgot to add that, here are the rims I was wanting, I definitely have room to the fender, stock seems pretty deep in there https://audiocityusa.com/shop/19-Sta...lack-Rims.html

thank you for the help!!

Is there a specific mm you recommend?
Specifically for these:
