Arrow Tire and wheel fitment HELP!!!

Hello guys! Ive recently bought Niche cannes M180 wheels that came with BF Goodrich advantage T/A sport tires. The wheel specs are 245/55/r18 and my current set up on my g37 sedan RWD is 225/55/r17.. and Noticed that the goodrich tires are beefy. Will i encounter any issues? should i swap tires? new to forums and to the car scene, any help will do thanks

They should fit just fine. You can fit up to 32s without a lift, but you may need to pound the pinch welds flat to prevent rubbing at full lock.

While those tires will fit the car, your ECU is going to have fits with the significantly larger tire diameter. It has the OE size hard-coded into it and a deviation of ±3% will cause the ABS and traction control warning lights to illuminate. Those BFG's are almost 7% larger in diameter than stock. You need 245/45-18 to get back into your ECU's good graces.

Which brand tires would you recommend? I will ultimately end up trading or selling the BFG even though the tread is almost brand new. I rather avoid problems then create more ... thanks man !

That's like asking which oil is the best. Is your priority cost, wear, noise, ride or handling?

Factory tire size diameter is 26.7 inches.

The tire diameter of that 245/55-18 is 28.6 inches.

Your speedometer will not be correct. It will read 60mph when your really going 64. It will read 70mph when your really going 75mph.

Like the other poster said, you need 245/45-18s which are 26.7 inches in diameter. That is also the factory rear tire size on the G37 'sport' sedan models.

Do you know the offset and width of your new wheels? That will also determine how much tire you can run.

thats your tire diameter not your wheel, and we are talking width.

Flip the wheel to see the inside, and look for a number followed by a “j” or “jj”. This is your width.

Now look for a number that says “+##” or “et ##”. Or just a number, should be something between 35 and 55 by the looks of them.

Heres a photo for example.
