Imo heavy overpriced cast wheels made in China. But can't knock their game tho they made a ton of money from their marketing . I feel like the hype died down since

the old CV3 models had cracking issues but the new CV3-R took care of that.

Also, you also have to take into consideration of what sizing they're running with the tires they have and the model.

The CV Series is cast.. same construction as many other wheels out there. If you want something a bit more durable, then I'd look at their VFS / HF series which is their Hybrid Forged, or rotary forged line..

the current trend is rotary forged. Alot of brands are offering it. And at alot less than expensive prices than vossen. Wat other brands do u offer that have rotary forged wheels?

We carry rotary forged wheels from Avant Garde, Forgestar, Momo, Stance, Vertini, MRR, XO Luxury, TSW, and Ace Alloy.

And then there are the original guys like Gramlights and Weds.

Didn't take long for the vendors to jump in. Come on, guys... let the thread get some traction before you pounce. Sheesh.

OP, based solely on watching this forum since forever, I'd say Vossen doesn't have the same appeal it once had. They market themselves heavily as upscale wheels, and they've always had some creatively solid designs (like my CVT wheels, which I adore). But their price was always a notch above where you would expect. And yes, they had quality issues in the Long Ago. Pretty sure that's an old issue, but you know... once burned. And in the last few years, they've been turning the worm into forged wheels, which carries a hefty price tag (and profit). Today they only have a handful of cast, mono-block (affordable) wheels.

follow up to my response is i just wouldnt buy vossens new. its just too overpriced for what it is. i would only buy it used and at a good used price. but i think for the price of vossens used you could probably get some rotary forged wheels. i was watching some fitment industries vids and there was a vid on tsw offering rotary forged wheels that were 20" and weighing about 20lbs. thats freaking impressive. not sure what they cost

Might look at Konigs too, quite a few choices that are lightweight and good looking (the flow-formed aka "rotary forged" line), not sure if they go up to 20s, but 18s and 19s they have several nice ones.
