Michelin or Continental help!

Hello Everyone,
My 2013 G37 sedan needs new tires.
I'm getting new tires this week (225 / 55 R17) and I'd like feedback (please) from you. I'm down to Michelin Premiere or Continental Extreme Contact.
Your thoughts would be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

What are your expectations from the tires? Michelins may cost more but tend to be more quiet and consistent feedback vs contis

I knew I forgot something. lol
I'm more interested in a good ride, noise, and getting at least 45k miles out of them. I have the original Good Year Eagle RA and it feels like I'm driving on rims sometimes.

Two very different performers, one is a grand touring tire (Michelin Premier) the other a Ultra High Performance All Season (I assume the DWS or DWS 06). The Michelins should be quieter and longer tread life, the Contis better grip in all conditions at the expense of noise & treadwear. The Michelins will probably be a bit better than the crappy Goodyear RS-As but the Contis quite a big jump up the performance ladder. The BFG Sport Comp2 All Seasons are also another tire to consider. If you like to drive teh G more like it's designed to be driven I'd go w/ the Conti or BFG over those Michelins. If you want a Michelin that will perform as well or maybe even better than those go w/ the Pilot Sport A/S.

I have the continentals and they are by far the most durable tires I have ever had. The road noise can get a little loud on the highway but that gets drowned out by my exhaust anyways. If youre lookin for durability I recommend the continentals but I don't have a comparison to the michellins to say they are better than them
