Winter wheels for G37x sedan

Hi Guys,

Winter is coming. I live in Montreal Canada, so winters are pretty harsh. I'm trying to find some winter wheels to use on my 2011 G37x sedan (not sport) so I don't ruin the stock 17". I already have 17" winters (225 55 17).

I saw some G35 wheels (17x7 front and back) would those fit? I've been seeing discussions around this, but I haven't found a clear answer for my non-sport sedan.

Would they fit? Any hub spacers required? What do you use during harsh winters?

Thanks.

Those old 17x7 G35 wheels should fit, the only real difference is the newer base brakes may be a bit larger than the older G35 brakes, but there should still be adequate clearance. Even the newer base brakes don't require much backspacing. You wouldn't need any hub adapters.

Ideally, if it's a local sale you can just do a quick test fit in front.

I've seen several G37s in Quebec with black-painted 17-inch steel wheels with snow tires mounted. I'm guessing they came as a package from whomever sold the snow tires. Check the usual suspects (Canadian Tire?).
