Best Wheel / Tires Sizes Without Lowering?

I am a new G37 owner and new to the forum. I want to get new wheels and tires to replace the stock set but struggling with right sizes. I am a visual person and have seen photos of some bad *** Gs but most looked lowered. I have also seen some Gs that have too big of wheels or too small that shrink in the wheel well.

I am trying to find that size wheel, 18,19,20 with the right tires that fits nicely into the wheel well, but doesn't looked off balanced and without lowering the vehicle.

I know that what looks good is dependent on the person looking at it, but I think there are standard sizes that everyone could agree that looks good.

Any help would be appreciated and any pictures would be even better!!

Need a bit more info~ Do you want a staggered setup (wider wheels/tires in back), your budget for the set, do you want summer tires or all-seasons?

The bigger diameter wheels tend to look out of place at stock height. I would go no larger than 19s and 18s would be more what I'd recommend.

For a non staggered setup a set of 18x8.5 +35 for a sedan, +30 for a coupe running 245/45/18s all around will work well.

For staggered setup the same wheel/tire set in front and a 18x10 +45 sedan, +35 coupe on 285/40/18 tires in back.

Now to find wheels you like at your price point.
The TSW & Enkei wheels are nice 18s for a good price. For a bit more the SSR GTV lineup is a good choice. Check www.tirerack.com & www.treadepot.com for a good variety. If you want some custom finishes and other choices check GetYourWheels.com: Wheel and Tire Packages|Staggered Wheels|Custom Wheels|Luxury Rims

If you aren't going to lower your car, don't get larger diameter wheels. Doing that will make the wheel gap look bigger. Smaller wheels will visually reduce it.
