Can't find anything on this tire size
Going with 19x9.5 on front and 19x11.5 in rear on a 2011 xs sedan. now trying to figure tire size. Thinking 275/30 front and 305/30 rear. Is the rear going to fit or is that to wide? Anybody running that set up?

One of the forum members is running 305 rears and I think she's running 250 fronts. I don't know how it would work out with the awd system though...

Thanks. Those look like 20's. Am I wrong? Also looks crazy agressive. Maybe I should rethink my approach.

Yes, shes running 20's, I asked her about this set up and she said that its a very tight fit. Most people run 245 front and 275 rears but with the awd system it may mess up the computer if you try to stagger the setup, you may want to research it some more before doing it.

Thanks. I appreciate the input.

9.5/11.5 is crazy aggressive unless you plan on other work like fender pulling, heavy camber and slammed suspension.
For a Daily driver I'd go 9 front 10.5 back max. You MUST be very careful in tire/wheel selection for AWD, the only 19 tires that should be used would be 245/40/19 & 285/35/19 OR 235/40/19 & 275/35/19 Both these combos are under .62% variance For 20s it should be 245/35/20 & 285/30/20 OR 235/35/20 & 275/30/20 Both these combos are .07% variance which IS the best you can do. With all those tire sizes listed you must have the proper width rim for a standard mount so 8.5 to 9" front, 10 to 10.5" back. If you go too wide on the rime the mount will be stretched which changes the diameter. Always use this calculator when trying new tire/wheel setups https://www.myg37.com/forums/tire_rim_calculator.php, w/ AWD you need to be under 1% variance and really as close to zero as possible. |
everything blnewt said!
also don't forget that Natalie is on air too |
Definitely do research. That really is a crazy aggressive fit. 20x9/10.5 is a money setup!

AWD you will have future issues w/ the transmission but 11.5 wide better have the rear custom pulled or cut
