Running 295's

I was curious how much of a pain would it be to run 295's? Also if a 10.5 wheel can fit a 295. I wanted the aggressive fat back tire look and grip but I really don't want to have to roll my fenders. I will be dropping here on coils once I get my new tires :D

Awesome! thanks :D

No problem!

I'm running 295s on a 10x20 +45 on a sedan, lowered to zero gap on coils, tires fit exactly inside fender edge. Not sure the exact difference in offset between sedan and coupe, probably looking at offsets in the high 20s for a 10.5x20 w/ 295s on your coupe.
Just do it, you'll love it!

Im going to pull the trigger on it. Now I got to figure out which tires fit my driving style and price (I wish I could go with RE11's. They are my style... but out of my price lol)

Have you looked at the Toyo R888's? Think my set (305/30 & 265/30 19's) cost sub $1500 shipped. TOYO Proxes R888 Tires Direct

Really haven't had the chance to test them out. Most of the time they were on the dyno and it rained once I got the car back. The little time I had them I was trying to burn off the molding oils still in them. I've read a lot of great reviews and went with them because all the high-whp (1k+) guys I know love them. Be home shortly though. :JAMIN: :driving:

LOL Yeah. Take a look at the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Great reviews and was recommend by a friend who happens to instruct and drive (ACR-X) Viper owners at Texas World Speedway.

The R888 are amazing but the Michelin Pilot Super Sports are a better daily. The PSS are very quiet and yes you can run a 295 on 10.5 wide wheel.

on the G however, coilovers, offsets and tire height will be the next question. Fenders are also cut OP. All you can do is pull them a little. I wouldn't recommend doing that!

I don't like pulling the fenders at all.

I wanted to bump this thread because I've seem to run into a bit of a problem. My offset isn't right for our car. Its 23+ offset all around and I was worried when I drop (coils should be here soon) that I will rub.

Now I saw another G running this setup so I didn't think anything of it (though the G wasn't lowered). Any advice on how I can remedy the situation before i get my coils on?

Have you done a test fit? You'd be surprised how much the wheels/tires tuck into the wells when you drop it. Not much you can do at this point if they interfere other than running excess camber or a fender pull, but maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised when you drop it down, just do it very slowly the first time :)
