Check the tire manufacturers web site for the wheel width range, a stretch is better vs. a pinch mount as far as sidewall stability.

A stretch 255/35/20 is typically what is run in the back as the 10.5 +25 is too aggressive to run a standard fit. You will probably need a fair amount of camber if you are lowered, as the wheel edge will be outside the fender w/ camber under -2 and could contact under heavy compression. To be honest I would pass on staggered GTRs on a sedan, all front GTR wheels is a much easier way to go

Am I doing this correctly? I just want to know if this staggered setup will throw off an AWD system (selling). These are the tire sizes:


I know the Diameter variance has to be under 1%, but maybe I'm missing something else.

Those should be ok as long as the rear tires aren't worn quite a bit more than the fronts (bringing that variance over 1%).

I have a 2010 G37x base sedan and I'm eyeing Esr sR12 19x9.5 +35. Will this clear the bbk? They also have 19x8.5 +30. What tire set up should I mount on these? Might buy coilovers in future.

Always best to confirm clearance w/ the vendor, these templates can be sent to the vendor, and if they want the sale they should confirm the fit for you.

I emailed ESR and apparently it will clear the bbk. I also asked about the ESR RF1 forged 19x9.5 +22 and it will also clear the bbk. I'm leaning towards more on the RF1. Whats the best tire set up for the Rf1's dimensions?

You'll want the +35 offset for a sedan, unless you want to run heavier camber or a more stretched tire set.

Looking at 19" wheels for my Q60 non-Sport AWD coupe, want to clarify which offsets I should buy:

Front: 19x8 with 245/40 tires, available offsets are 20 and 40
Rear: 19x9.5 with 275/35 tires, available offsets are 20 and 40

I'm looking to get a "staggered" look for my AWD coupe, and I'd like to avoid spacers. I also plan on Swift lowering springs.

Flush fit w/ the +20 offset, would need a front spacer if you want the same fit at the fender edge vs. the rear.

The TSW website recommended +20 for the 19x8 front, and +40 for the 19x9.5 rear. Does that sound OK? If I need to buy spacers, that's OK, I just don't want to buy the wrong offset and end up with "poke"
I'm not looking for a perfectly flush setup, I would like the wheels more flush than the OEM wheels. I was driving behind a modified G37 coupe, and his wheels were perfectly flush at the top of the fender, but the majority of the tire was sticking out past the body (because the body side is curved inwards) and looked silly in my old-man eyes.

Also trying to avoid the rim lip sticking out past the tire sidewall. I think 245 on 8" rim should be enough to protect rim lip, but how about 275 on the 9.5" rear rims? Will 275 have some meat past the rim lip to offer a little lip protection?

My last car had OEM wheels that tires looked "stretched" and the face and lip were exposed, those wheels were constantly getting damaged no matter how careful I was. I like the OEM setup I have right now where the tire sidewall protects the wheel a little. If I slightly touch something with my wheel it doesn't hurt anything.

Yes, if you want the front 8.5 +20 without any spacing then go w/ the 9.5 +40, get everything installed and space the rear out to your liking vs. the front. The 9.5 +20 will be quite a bit more flush and one mans flush may be another's poke, lol as it really is something that depends on the user Also a 245 on an 8 and a 275 on a 9.5 are good mounts w/ decent sidewall profile, not stretched and not pinched (the 245 on the 8 is just a slight pinch).
