The OFFICIAL "I have a wheel offset / tire fitment question!" thread
#2221
With those offsets wheels will be poking outside the fenders but tires will tuck, may have to trim rear fender bracket and run a bit more camber depending on how wide the tires run (different tire brands run wider/narrower even w/ same tire sizes), if you want wheel edge flush to the fender you'd have to select offsets 10mm more positive all around.

R - 9 +45 275/40
Looking at ESR sr08
I'd like to keep my tire size or close to it. Nothing stretched.
Just looking for a bit more width out of a wheel, something flush.
Would the 10.5 in the rear be too much? +15 is what they have listed on the website. Some other close wheels, I saw +22.
Should I go with 9.5 all around?
or just buy spacers for the IPL's and go with them?

Looking at Enkei NT03rr in 18x9.5 27offset
I’m on true style coils and have front and rear camber arms. Will these be too aggressive for my sedan?

Quick question about "backspace" measurement? Is that the same as offset? I'm looking at switching to a different set of wheels that are a tad smaller so I don't have to run stretched tires.
The new set I'm looking at are 20x8.5 40mm offset and 20x9.5 40mm offset, which looks ok when I put it into the fitment calculator, but I'm worried about clearing my sport brakes? Tire rack doesn't list it fitting the sport model, but they do for the base coupe?
I noticed the term backspace on tire rack and now I'm confused again. Which happens a lot. Lol. Any help is appreciated.

Offset is measurement from centerline to the mounting flange, backspacing is mounting flange to inside lip of wheel.
Here's the 18" Enkeis that clear BBK

I'm pretty sure somebody's going to recommend a drop. I won't do it just for aesthetics, but I suspect I'm going to want coilovers next. If I go for that then sure I'll give it a mild drop.
