F14's Lug Nut Help

Hey guys i am going to be receiving my set of Forgestar F14's in about 2 months. I am confused about what kind of lug nuts would fit the wheels :confused2:. Any F14 owners out there can tell me what kind of lugs are they using? I keep finding Kics R40's on the internet but also something about the lock hex key not fitting in the hole and causing scratches :icon43:? Seems like the volks formula racing works but those are a bit too expensive for me..

Also, If it's a brand new set from a vendor they will come with them. Mine did when I got them late last spring.

^oh so the wheels will come with new lug nuts? i didn't know that..

I'd recommend getting these:
Comes with wheel locks and should fit any aftermarket wheel. Even if the vendor included lugs, they're probably crap and don't include locks. I even went one step further and got another set of locks just to have the extra peace of mind. Wouldn't want some jerk with too much time on his hands stealing your new wheels.

Yes, I'd skip the Gorilla lugs. These are very common aftermarket lugs and make for easy theft. Looking to save some money on aftermarket lugs... look into the new Greddy with optional locks. Good luck!

Do you guys know if the Project Kics R40's with locks Fit the F14's with no problem or how bout the new Project Kics Leggdura? Are they too big for the forgestars lug holes?

Tuner set, I have a set of Project Kics R26 with Lock. I wouldn't go with McGard because the main lock key is easy to break.

Idk what you are talking about OP. The lock holes have plenty of room. In fact more room that my OEM's. I fit Work Ray Lugs with lock key no problem if that helps.

Whats the difference between the R26 and R40s? I understand that the R40's locking version has a 19mm Hex key where as the non locking ones are all 17mm. This is my first time purchasing aftermarket rims and i dont want to buy the wrong size lug nuts hahahas . Do these lugs work fine in conjunction with spacers if i decide to add them later? Thanks for the response!

Both sets of the project kics should fit without issues? I've had the R26 on my Z and loved them! Pick the set that's you like the most and install. They will all fit those wheels... Just get the correct pitch.
