OEM 17's to 18's Swap

Hey guy's I just have a quick question. I will be buying getting 18" OEM Sport wheels with tires for my g37x Journey and I have 17's right now. I heard that when I will swap them the Tire Pressure sign will lit up. What should I do to make it go away?!

This would have to be a new issue for me to go through because I never had it, and this is my first Infiniti so if you can tell me what should I do. Thx :)

As long as the sensors are from the same year family of cars, you'll be fine.

when you do the swap, have the tire shop take your TPMS from your 17s and install them on your 18s. the light may stay on for a few miles, but should turn off.

This is the correct answer. The Infiniti/Nissan TPMS units in each wheel are designed to be registered to your particular vehicle, so your G won't know the difference if they are swapped over from one wheel to another. But putting another set into your set of wheels means they'll have to be registered via the dealership CONSULT unit ($$) or other means.
