Actually the thread title is a bit misleading, b-drizzy nailed the aggressive offset part
Running super aggressive offsets tends to eliminate the ability to run FAT tires
Maybe title should be Reasonable offsets w/ FAT tire thread.

Be careful there, what front tire are you running?
Might have to run 255/40 all around, it will stretch enough to tuck inside the rear fender edge but not stretch enough to alter the diameter enough to cause problems w/ your AWD. If you run tires w/ a front to rear diameter variance over 1% you may cause the AWD light to come on at higher speeds and could cause some damage to that system.

Thank you both for your help I think I got everything sorted out. Went with 25540s on all 4s. No rubbing and the tire tucks in!
Yeah, the +23 offset in back is the killer. Member Ryne did the staggered wheel w/ same tire size on his AWD coupe and it actually worked well. I think the 255/40s all around is your best bet as far as keeping everything inside your fender edges and not messing w/ your AWD system. You could possibly run a 265/35 in back but then you'd need a 235/40 front and those sizes aren't that common, so finding tires you like might be a chore. 275s can work w/ extra camber but IMO keeping alignment close to spec is more important, especially w/ the more complex AWD setup.
