WORK Wheels Question *NOOB*

Sorry for such a NOOB question but I don't want to mess up my new WORK wheels. Can I use any type of aftermarket lug nut for these wheels or do they have to be WORK lug nuts? For example; can I use these:

you can use any type of tuner lugs on works. so yes, you can use the muteki lugs. imo though if you have a set of works, you should get at least one set of wheel locks. i have two locks on each wheel for my advans

^^ Thank you so much. Yeah, I will eventually get a nice set of maybe red lugs, but for now I'm stuck with the regular chrome ones.

OB is reccomending wheel locks to go along with your nice wheels... It would be a good idea... Congrats on your new wheels Post Some Pics!

If it were me, I would get irregular shaped lugs that require a key to get them off and wheel locks so it would making it harder on thieves. Just my opinion, but look into project kics.

just like got on my Volks TE37 TT's, i would get Project Kics for your beautiful wheels... you gotta get a good set of lugs that wont eat into your wheel... notice the gold on the end of the project kics lugs, the end wontt spin into the wheel once its fully locked in and tight... therefore, not eating up your highend wheels... look into it...

^^ that's the response I was looking for. Will I be okay with the regular Muteki lugs for a while?

McGard makes tuner lugs with locks that have that same washer at the bottom. Summit Racing sells them for a good price and theres usually a coupon code

i wouldnt waste my money on two sets of lugs... just do it right the first time... if you go with ones that do not have the washer at the end though, then you got to get them tightend them by hand and not by the gun... otherwise, they can/will damage your wheel... if they do, youre gonna need a new wheel... theres no fixing that... gotta remind anyone working on your car to tighten by hand...

you can go Project Kics R40, which are a little longer and run for about $170... or depending on the design of the wheel, you might need shorter ones, the Project Kics R26 which will run about $125...

you got Work wheels bro, you shouldnt cheap out on lugs... protect your investment from day 1... my .02

Well I guess I'll have to wait a little longer to mount my wheels What about WORK lugs? Which brands have this washer at the bottom? I can't tell which do and which do not from the pics I keep seeing.

All WORK lugs do not have this washer that we are speaking of... they have 3 types of lug nuts...

RS Type are Aluminum which cannot be used with a gun...
RS-R Type are also Aluminum which also cannot be used with a gun...
RS-Z Type are made out of Steel, so you can use an impact gun... but those will damage your wheels with the gun, eventually...

most, if not all places will use the gun... its an easier and faster process of removing a wheel...
