Baby's got new shoes
It was time for new tires, due to negative camber chewing up the edges.
My G had 20" Volk GT30's, thanks to the original owner. I loved the wheels, but I'm not a fan of the skinny tire look, and I was tired of worrying about destroying the Volks on curbs and potholes. So, I decided to go back to a 19" wheel and settled on Concept One RS8's. 8.5" +35 offset in front and 10.5" +45 offset in back. The fronts required a 7mm spacer to clear the big brakes. Tires are Falken FK452's. 245-40-19 285-35-19 **new SPC upper A arms in front, and new toe bolts in the rear to fix the camber issues. Already had adjustable camber arms in rear. BTW.... I sold the Volks locally and it more than paid for the tires and rims! I love Craigslist! :JAMIN: http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...7/IMG_0067.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...7/IMG_0068.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...7/IMG_0071.jpg |

+1 ^^^^^^
|
woulda kept the volks for sure.

I really love gt30s but i understand what you mean by too little tire. I like the stance with this setup! Def looks good/functional.

Ah well it's all about what you like, but I wouldn't do it.
There is a reason why the Volks covered the cost of those easily lol. |
Yeah definitely a downgrade but as long as you are happy.

To each his own

my winter wheels look better than those..
|
Glad you like em, but I personally prefer the look of the stock wheels compared to these. But it's aways nice to see something different.
