Best aftermarket locking lugs for OEM 19's?
 

So I've been reading all the horror stories on here about our Sport 19's getting jacked left and right. What are the best aftermarket locking lugs (since the dealer ones are useless), where to get them, and how much?? :)

You cannot use aftermarket lugs with stock wheels.

Best thing is the new Lo-Jack. It actually has a built in gyro sensor. So if one part of the car is ever elevated above another (stealing rims or being towed), you are immediately sent a text and police are notified.

^many aftermarket alarms feature tilt sensors as well.

my 2c, save your $. if someone wants your wheels, locks wont stop them.

You can also integrate a tilt sensor into your factory alarm.

Oh that sucks. So is it better just to get dealer locks vs just keeping the regular factory lugs? I know! I'll just get a pit bull or a rotweiller and tie him up outside next to my car next time I have to leave my car outside :icon38:

You can get dealer locks but it is a waste of money. I promise you ever wheel theif has a key for the common locks like that.

Just get a tilt sensor. I never knew you could intergrate one into the factory alarm. But that is pretty much the only way of theft prevention for stock rims.

I just got the lo-jack with tilt sensors. I only paid 600, plus it lowers my insurance premium. Has a neat feature too, I can log onto their website at anytime and see exactly where my car is (in case it is towed/stolen).

It is pimp for kids too, you automatically get notified if the car goes above certian speeds and tracks everywhere the car goes.

The 727t interfaces with the stock alarm system, and allows for sensors like the tilt sensor to be integrated onto the factory alarm.

Thats exactly what i have done, $150 installed. Works PERFECTLY. I also have a proximity sensor, backup battery, audio sensor, aftermarket siren, and shock sensor all installed too.

All of this in addition to rays formula lock set, and they should have a nice time with my car. If they get anywhere, i'll be standing outside with my ar-15. Lo-jack is nice too though.

I had the lo-jack put in by dealer when I bought it. Mostly because it lowers my insurance premium. In 4 years, it will pay itself off. And it is transferable, just take the little box out and put it in my next car.

WHere is the box? I have lo jack on my car and when Weiboy took off my wheels to install HIDs, I got no such reply LOL
