Quick Question about wheel/tire fitment...

If I were to get 20x9.0 offset-42 (front wheels) and 20x10.0 offset-42 (back wheels) with 245/40-20 tires (front) and 275/35-20 tires (back). You think this setup will cause any problems like rubbing or loss in confront? BTW won't be lowered due to too my uneven road and obstructions on road.

no, your offset is totally off. - offset means it'll super stick out. should of been + and you should get offset in the mid +30

Assuming you mean +42, you will be fine with those. May even want to consider spacers.

what rims are you getting?

spacers will put the rim out more, so if you have "tucked" rims they will sit more flush or be more aggressive (stick out) with the fender

i really think you should get something alittle more aggressive than those offsets so you'll have no regrets. and forget about the spacers, they only pushes your wheel out more for an more aggressive look. just get the correct offset so you won't need them.

Most people want their wheels to sit flush with the fender. "Tucked" would be set in under the fender. Spacers go between the hub and the rim and push the rims out so they are not "tucked".

What offset would you suggest?

A more "aggressive" offset, meaning that the wheel is designed to stick out more. A lower offset number. Mine are +32/+34.

Play around with this wheel offset/tire size calculator and see what will work well and what maintains the same overall wheel circumference. Factory wheel specs are here.

Keep in mind that any 20" wheels you buy will result in some sacrifice in ride comfort because the tires will have shorter and stiffer sidewalls transmitting more of the road to you in the car. You will feel dips, bumps, holes, etc. more than before. The general ride will be somewhat stiffer too. It's the sacrifice you make when going to a bigger wheel size with lower profile tires.

mines are:
fronts: 20x8.5 offset: 25
rears: 20x10 offset: 32

you should get something between +37 rear on a 10.5inch wheel and +32 fronts on a 9inch wheel.

well this wheel's offsets aren't any near those specs but I've found this

20x9.0 +25 (front)

20x10.0 +25 (back)

how does that sound? think that will be flush or close to flush?

It will stick out in front. Find wheels that fit the car, not the other way around. It's easier
