I'm pretty sure they will clear the BBK but since you have them on hand I'd fit this template just to be 100% sure. These are the wheels you have (18x8+43)???
Four 11-13 Infiniti G37 Factory 18 Wheels Tires Rims OEM 73753 73754 Maxima - Socal Wheels - Factory, OEM and Custom Wheels - Take-offs, New and Used Tires

Hey guys, I see this thread has been dormant but I have a question. I have a 2012 G37X sport coupe with 225/45-19 tires. I would like to put on 245/45-19 tires all the way around to get a taller and wider tire. I think the taller tire will fill the wheel well, stock tire size seems too small. Am I going to run into any trouble with rubbing with this size, .7" wider and .7" taller? It doesn't seem like much but you guys probably would know better than me, thanks in advance!

hey blnewt ! idk how I missed this post but the wheel size for the convertible is : Front 18x8 +43mm offset; Rear 18x8.5 +27mm offset. Took me forever to find that info ! I've never seen anyone with the oem BBK and factory 18s. I have a 2010 so maybe the 2011+ 18s are 18x8 front and rear.

It's a bit of a gray area, 3% is typically what is recommended as the max you should go over/under OEM diameters to keep the VDC & ABS systems in range, and since you also have an AWD that may come into play as well. It's not that they won't work for sure, but I'd hate to give the green light to those 45s and then you have issues and you're out that money and possible functional issues.

Thank you blnewt. If it's a programming issue with the car I'd rather not chance it. This is the wife's car and dealing with a variance in the speedometer would have been acceptable. Better to be safe than sorry, thanks again!

So I have a 2012 G37X Sedan. I have the generic 17" rims on all four wheels. I also have the standard brakes. I plan on picking up some 17" winter tires and mounting them to the wheels on the car right now. I will be looking at a different set of wheels/tires for summer driving. Should I stick with 17's or should I go to 18's or 19's? If I do get a larger wheel, will I have to have anything calibrated for the speedometer to remain accurate? I know next to nothing about wheels/tires so sorry if these questions seem simple to figure out. I've tried searching the forums for these questions but came up with nothing.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Definitely go up to 18s, this will open up a much larger group of tires to choose from. I would look at a 18x8.5" wheels with an offset around +35. You can then run the very common 245/45/18 tire which will be almost identical in rolling diameter to your stock 17" tires. you will have no clearance issues and the wider tire will give a more planted feel and a wider contact patch. Many quality 18s to choose from depending on your budget, and I would stay w/ 18s if you don't plan to lower your G, if lowering is in your plans then 19s would also look great, with the same width & offset but a 245/40/19 tire to keep diameters in range.

you recommended a 18x8.5 wheel with around a 35 offset. Would a 18x8 and a 45 offset work? By using a calculator online, it says:
Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 6.3mm closer to the suspension strut.

that 18x8 +45 won't be a problem, but the 18x8.5 is a better width for that 245 width tire, and the wheel will be closer to the fender edge which is a better look IMO and most others' opinions here too
FWIW I run a 18x9.5 +38 w/ 245s in front and 285s in back and there's still quite a bit of room to go out w/ the 245s

Hi everyone,
I looked through this thread so hopefully I didn't miss it, but I'm trying to find out the size of the center caps for the 19" IPL wheels. I found part number D0342-1A31A which lists only the IPL as compatible but haven't found an actual size measurement anywhere. I measured the diameter on mine at 2 inches which I thought might be kind of small, but I wanted to make sure I had the right size before ordering replacements.
