Shocking indeed, their response was also pretty bad. No apology and just finger pointing at others

I remember when they screwed up 2 members g37 as well

I'm really surpised they're still in business. I've read threads over at my350z with similar stories way back 2003-2006.

I just made my way through all 21 pages of that horrifying narrative. There have been both praise and negative feelings about just about every vendor at some point, but when you start to see a trend of one more than the other it tends to make you wonder. Also when a vendor has to post a rebuttal, or excuses, or "send it back and give us a chance to fix it" responses more than once (or twice) to defend their work it makes you wonder. Whatever the actual case in this situation, the photos alone are damning enough to see that poor GTR has been butchered by some level of carelessness at best and outright incompetence at worst. That car deserves a hell of a lot better than it got, whatever the reason for the butchery.

I am not an experienced and certified technician, but I will confidently say that I could have done and will do a much better job than most of that half-assed workmanship. Each time I see a thread like this posted that has happened to someone's car, it makes me feel better and better about my decision to install my own turbo system. I'm confident I can't possibly do any worse than that install which was completed by "professionals".

I'm a driveway mechanic but if I ever released anyone's car from my care in that condition, I'd go inside and promptly kill myself rather than deal with the backlash that would ensue ruining my good name and reputation. Anytime a wrench is being turned on a person's car, for profit or helping out a friend, the foremost thought should be that you want to work on it as if it were your own car. I'd never do that to my car. I couldn't live with myself (let alone make excuses and defend myself) if I'd done it to someone else's

Unreal...the amount of money that was spent and the blatant idiocy of the shop... I'm surprised this guy has still proper use of his legs let alone still in business. 250k in the hole!! I don't know how I would react to that...

I have to agree with Betty on this . Sharif had the same lame excuses a couple of years ago when Forged butchered a couple of G 37 coupes . As a matter of fact he said he fired his tech but the work on the GTR looks the same .. Makes me wonder !!

At the very least, they continue to hire incompetent technicians to do very lengthy, very expensive hack jobs on customers' cars. Repeatedly. That says something about the way things are done IMO.

im speechless after reading that...how you could have that much disregard for something like that.....i will say if that was my car and i was 250K in the hole, the shop that did the work would no longer be a standing building lol

hope it gets resolved and should be kept behind closed doors with that amount of money invested into that car.

Why should it be kept behind closed doors? I read the first page and I couldn't stop reading,, it was that addicting. Curious to see how it resolves. Crazy the amount of money spent even over 3 builds. Pictures really do not lie.. Forged's response seem so repetitive.
