What's up with Motordyne ?
 

So I have been waiting for the E370 exhaust for the G for a long time .. And have had multiple Motordyne products for my Z and now my G .. I am currently part of the group buy through Fred Beans Nissan .. Actually # 4 on the list .. According to Jomer this is also the order that the exhaust will ship . I place the order with Jomer and am excited to get this exhaust .. A week later Jomer informs me that I have a 50 50 chance of getting this . I asked Jomer why and he did not have a answer . So I called Motordyne and spoke with a woman . Forgot her name . Anyways , she said she does not know what is going on and tells me I will be getting the exhaust .. Will ship that week .. A couple days pass and no tracking # . I contact Jomer and he gets me one .. It's a tracking # that basically was just initiated and the merch is being sent to Kansas . I live in Oregon ... That was on 6/8 I contact Jomer on 6/11 and get a new tracking # this time it is the correct and was initiated on 6/8 and suppose to be shipped on 6/11 .. Guess what ? It was not .. So I called Motordyne today and spoke with Tony .. This was not fun ... I could tell he did not want to talk to me and I simply asked him what is going on with the exhaust .. He said I don't know .. I asked him if I had said or done anything to piss him off .. He than yelled NO .. Dodo I asked him why everyone else is getting their exhaust but I'm not .. He said they are sold out and being shipped as they are made . I know this is not true because a guy who just purchased a Ipl from my local Infiniti dealership ordered this exhaust and is # 9 on the group buy was shipped on Monday and is on its way to Oregon .. Tony basically said he knows nothing of the shipping order and does not have a eta for this exhaust .. This is honestly the weirdest experience I have ever had purchasing a exhasut .. Tony also said a while back that I would be the first one with this because I have been waiting so long .. That didn't happen and he does not return my emails or pms ... Anyone know if I said or did something to this guy ???

First the wheels and now the exhaust lol, you and buying mods dont seem to mix well. I hope everything works out for you cuz the motordyne exhaust is awesome

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Yeah you definitely have some bad luck with mods. I'd keep bugging Tony or maybe talk to BB since he also had a group buy going and might be able to help getting you in touch with Tony. Good luck man.

The wheels I was lied to about and turned out to be garbage .. I think I just put Tony in a bad mood .. I have bought tons of mods for the G and never had any issues with companies or vendors ... Hopefully this new exhaust ships today ..

I would have said Eeff it, and bought something else. It's just an exhaust, get something else. Imagine if you had fitment or warranty issues how he would respond.

No, I can't help with this at all. I have the same phone number for Tony as everyone else. I paid Motordyne directly and they shipped directly, I didn't go through any other vendor. I don't know what to tell you regarding having difficulty getting your shipment tracked other than to be persistent but don't be annoying or demanding. Those customers never got anywhere with me except sent to the very bottom of my list of priorities. Hopefully you'll get it soon, you seem to be snakebitten with buying exhausts.

Whilst i can't answer directly to your question, i will say that your experience as you wrote it, is not one i've ever experienced or that i've heard from others.

I can only imagine there is something going on with the GB organiser perhaps?

I do know that their fabricators have had no end of trouble on just a part of the system, causing delays that have been driving them crazy :(
Whilst non of this is your fault, i can assure you than this is very out of the norm and i would still be happy ordering from MD.

PS, i have stuff on order that i'm awaiting as well, i'm hoping that the fabricators have the last of their troubles sorted by today and maybe i'll get some parts this coming week :)
