My G; A Day at OneEighty

Living in North Carolina, choices for automobile customizations are limited. This forced me to look online for someone on the East Coast competent in performing work on my beloved G. Scouring a few online forums, I stumbled across Alex and Igor of OneEighty. After numerous conversations via email with Alex, we agreed upon a date for me to drive up and leave the car for a day. During our conversations, I discovered Alex, Igor and his guys offer a lot more than just headlight customizations. In fact, headlights are just small part of what they do. While Alex has a deep love for the Infinitis, I was amazed at just how many other vehicles they customize!

As you will see, they run a complete turnkey shop handling just about anything you can imagine. The guys work very hard and are extremely competent! The dedication is evident, dinner was at 10:30PM, after my car was completed! Below you will find a list of what OneEighty performed on my G37s that day...

1) Headlight Modifications (Including Side Strip LEDs, Painting of housing and amber strip)
2) Grille Modification (from chrome to black gloss)
3) Purchased H&R Springs right from the shop and had them installed there
4) Purchased Ichiba Spacers directly from OneEighty, they also performed the install as well
5) LEDs throughout the entire interior, license plate light
6) HID Fog Light Kit installation

Alex also recommended a nice hotel nearby that was in a great neighborhood. This allowed me to catch up on some much needed sleep as I was making this a 30 hour trip ...total!

Since I was fairly new to the customization scene, Alex offered recommendations and suggestions to help me reach my goals. Not only was he spot on, but every customization complimented each other. Below you will find before and after photos of the car, remember, ALL modifications were completed during this one day visit to OneEighty!

My next planned trip to OneEighty will include the following, so please try and ignore the stock wheels.

1) Vossen CV3s & tires
2) Replacing interior trim
3) Smoked Tail lights
4) Painted Calipers

I want to officially thank Alex, Igor and the rest of the guys for taking care of my G. The guys did exactly what they said and everything went very smoothly, not bad for one days work! Thanks guys!

Good work, when did you get it done. I've been trying to contact 180 for a while and haven't gotten through.

Not as much as you may think, especially if I had the work performed down here. The quick turnaround time was worth the drive...

I drove up there on the 28th of Dec - they appear always busy and could use a secretary.

Thanks xtremeroller, I believe I have the mod-bug thing going on now, sort of fun (and addictive).

Yea these guys rock. I had some work done in december by them. No pics until I at least put on my 19's in the spring They def are busy but they will do what they can and are helpful. Always helps when you live in tristate area though.

Still no secretary?? SMH b/c they've been needing one since I bought my grille from them last year. Big issue I had with these guys, bad communication.
