Swat Performance as Premier Member Only

Hey Guys,

Swat Performance will be pulling out as a Vendor/Sponsor on this Forum as of today.

My mission was to offer the finest, highest quality performance parts and accessories possible from companies like Top Secret. I feel like Top Secret has been drudged through the mud with all of the "Knock Offs", which is allowed on here not only by the Internet Brands; Forum Provider, but also the Moderators and Members.

To the Companies that offer "Knock Offs" and make Top Secret look like they're too expensive after stealing TS products, good luck with your futures.

To all of the Top Secret and Swat Supporters: Thank you!

Sincerely,

Ken Sanders

Sorry the sponsorship didn't work out for you here Ken. And for the record, IB may not take any business stand against knock off companies ripping off designs, and many members and some staff may not care either, but that doesn't go for all of us. I care about intellectual property rights, original designs, and not rocking fakes and calling it the real deal. I wish you the greatest success with the business endeavor and I'll see you around at shows and meets.

I'd attribute this to bad economy.

I'm inclined to agree. I mean a BBK can set you back anywhere from 3K to 11K. 2K for a full body kit doesn't seem so bad on a list of mods.

I attribute this to the nature of the aftermarket business.

body kit ain't bad...but did u look at the other parts?

$1100 for ts/hks hybrid intake
$2800 for bodykit (not $2000) and it's fg, not poly...and not painted
$4000 for coilovers
$1900 for rear spoiler...

sounds kinda pricey to me...

it's always nice to have brand name parts...but most people can't afford brand name...

If your mission is to support high end products, maybe you should consider removing non JDM PARTS from your website. Like what others have said, not everyone can afford the authetic parts but there is some who won't hasitate spending on real JDM products. Unfortunately, that elite few(and very few)

In my Honest opinion, if you feel betrayed because other forum members bought replicas of the top secret, your only hurting yourself beacuse at the end of the day, the consumer has final say how they want to spend. Hate on the companies that replicate, not the consumers buying them. Again my 2cents
