I could relate to either decision... which doesn't help you, but it does support a dialog.

On one hand, we're all sportscar(ish) themed, Nissan enthusiasts. Cut our cars down the the frame, and there's more similar than different. And there's always the potential for a more-the-merrier dynamic. If it's the difference between 10 cars and 20 cars, I vote for 20.

On the other hand, with G Coupe and Z's in the mix, the odd-man out is the stodgy Sedan. That likelihood applies not just to the cars, but to the people. Expect the average age of the owners to dip even lower than it's been dropping year over year while these cars age, and expect less in common on a personal level.

In all likelihood, the impact would be minimal, with just a few extra Z's in the mix. But Z Clubs are a different breed, and if a group out of NYC whipped up some interest, you could get descended upon with a dozen cars on a last minute, summer road-trip.

As a practical matter, there's site capacity. But ultimately, as event coordinator, it's your call, Sean.

Shan't mess with the dynamic with a formal opening of attendance. A few grown-up Z guys won't damage the vibe, though.

And I'm not keen on being called onto the carpet by the Ranger for misdeeds.

Quick question... if I show up with my '07 G35, are you all going to laugh and tell me to go home? The G35 forum seems to be lacking in NorthEast events/meetups and my car is close to being a G37 anyhow haha.
