I got my 2010 G37x back Friday from having this done and I can really tell the difference. Shifts are much smoother and quicker. It makes a big difference in the drivability and its closer to how it's supposed to be.

Whats the updated ECU ROM #? It should be on the work order when 075 was done. If that number is listed on the 027 bulletin, it needs to be updated.
OK, so I talked with the Tech that serviced my car. He confirmed that they are using Consult III+ cables and that my ECM and TCM numbers are not included in the bulletin. They are 1MW0C and X766A. So I guess I'm out of luck.

Hopefully Infiniti issues an update to this bulletin soon and includes these codes. My car has exactly all the symptoms that are described in the bulletin and I'm really frustrated that my codes are not included in the list. It's a shame cause I love my car!!! And it's so frustrating to drive since I'm constantly obsessing on how the transmission feels. I don't know how much of the feeling is psychological. Maybe a lot.

Dose this totally kill DS mode or just soften it up, or what? Also with this help quicken shifts/response in DM mode?

Hesitation/lag when accelerating after coasting is a major issue, I'd really like to have this fix.

Thanks,
JBabsG37

REV Matching, killed in D mode, softened in DS mode.
Hesitation/lag all but gone.

Upshifts slightly better, more noticeable in M mode.

Supposedly Infiniti has come out with a revised version of the update (ITB 12-027d). I'd like to see more information on the subject.

I just downloaded the pdf of 027d from infinitihelp and it shows:

*2009 – 2011 G37 Sedan and Coupe (V36/CV36) 2009 – 2012 Convertible (HV36)*

This is just like 027c except at the top it states: "This bulletin has been amended to change the first sentence of the IF YOU CONFIRM statement. Discard and previous versions."

Apply to 2013 sedan?

Anyone know if a 2013 sedan would need this update? Have not noticed rough down-shifting, but have only driven a couple of hundred miles...

I have a 2013 G37S Sedan that I am taking mine to the dealership right now for this (1 hour). I have the sporadic crazy down shift when braking. Also I can't even use the DS Manual mode.......1-2 sec delay between shifts.

I went to the dealer, who did nothing for me.
They sent a mechanic to drive the car with me sitting passenger explaining how the 7AT learns your driving behavior, and will sometimes do the sporadic downshift at sub-20 MPH speeds.
I insisted that the car should not need to apply engine braking when coasting to a slow stop, and that if I were driving manual, I would never engine brake on a slow stop on a flat road.
They then proposed that perhaps I just need to get used to the way the car behaves as I have never had an automatic before. They will hook it up to the computer next month when I go in for my first oil change......
