Grill Removal

Anyone who owns a M in the 2012 model year range ever remove the front grill for painting? If so, do you have to remove the bumper to loosen the bottom of the grill? If yes, is it a complicated removal?

Remove the whole bumper. You can take off the grille without removing the bumper but it’s more of a pain in the *** since you need to squeeze tools through the nooks and crannies. If you remove the whole bumper make sure to wiggle the bumper off and not force it out with brute force.
