Lightbulb Cryptocurrency - Discussion

Thought I'd make a thread and see who's all in with crypto, why you chose x coin, future analysis, issues, and everything else (exchanges, wallets, etc)

Me personally - went with litecoin due to BTC being astronomically high. I wanted to get some ETH when it hit $135 a month ago, but I held out for it hitting $100 which never happened unfortunately and I regret it fully.

Due to recent chinese news, not sure how it will affect market for the upcoming days, but everything has been significantly down. Personally tried picking up more LTC, but went all-in when it sky-rocketed hoping it would hit $100 and dump and wait for the correction

If you laugh at the idea of crypto - I don't think you'll like my other investments

I don't invest in a traditional 'portfolio'. I don't pick which stocks, bonds, etc to buy. It's too low of a return for me and I like to take larger risks, (i.e., crypto). Crypto can be a risk - if you have a weak hand. I'm prone to hold onto investments so I don't panic sell. Every time the crypto market has crashed it has recovered in significant numbers. Whether people like it or not - it's here to stay because it will be the future of global currency.

I dont disagree about being of the future...However it's going to be tough to shake the USD...I think of it more like a fad at this time

Why not jump into some 3x funds if you like large risk

Just be careful

Well since me and you are just arguing - I think you should do more research because it will replace currency just like paper currency replaced gold/silver for daily use. It'll take awhile - but crypto is here to stay and will be used globally.

Watch the documentary on Netflix
