Finally another great product from the leader of BIG BRAKE KITS, This is a direct replacement of the OEM FRONT SPORT CALIPER. 6 POT MONOBLOCK CALIPERS, bolts up to factory rotors. Sports rotors will be out soon :biggthumpup:

would it be safe to bolt 6 piston up front and stick to the stock 2 pistons in the rear?

yes it is. This was actually designed by brembo for the Nissan 370z sport brake upgrage but NISSAN decided to go with the cheaper 4 pot akebono's. I'm sure the engineer's at Brembo thought it out and did the proper R&D first prior to making the products. Plus because the rotors are not any bigger, these are just providing better braking in the front. Plus it looks cool :biggthumpup:

i've seen the silver brembo calipers but i haven't had a chance to match it with the akebono silver. It should be close

got some pics of the brembo compared to the akebono brakes from our Z. You'll see that the brembo is much bigger but the width is the same so no issue on your current wheels , stock or aftermarket

It really boils down to what you want. The 6 piston brembo replacement caliper is plenty stopping power but some opt for a matching rear set. Call me so we can discuss your options:biggthumpup:

Here's a picture of the 6 pot installed on my G37.
Quick review:

Awesome. Mated with rotora cross drilled and slotted rotors and MOTUL brake fluids, I'm stopping 2 car lengths sooner than the akebono's. The first day i drove my car after the upgrade, I had to get use to stopping too soon:icon17:. I decided to drive my car home after SEMA even though transport was paid for only because i wanted to try all the new upgrades we did for SEMA. Braking was improved drastically with these calipers. I will update more after we get some track events.

If your looking to upgrade your brakes, this is a must. Its not overkill like most BIG BRAKE KITS, 20% more braking power according to brembo and it sure helps on emergency situations.

Any updates on rear brake kit?
The reason most people are (at least I am) hegitant is that I want matching brake calipers front and rear.
I rather have full sets of OEM akebono brakes than Front Black Brembo, and Rear Akebono.
Please let me know, I will jump on this
