“Infamous” Nissan Charity event hosted by JDM 420

[Charity background:]

This event is dedicated to a fellow Nissan family member’s (Old School) little sister Brianna Plehn. A majority of the proceeds will be donated to her memorial fund. Please come out and show your support!! RIP Brianna and our hearts go out to you and the Plehn family.

[Who is invited?]

Everyone is welcome; from heavily modified to bone stock! A positive attitude is all that is necessary. The meet will be primarily a Z and G thing since this will be posted on my350z, myg37, G35driver, and Zilvia.net. However, all makes and models are welcome. I strongly encourage everyone to bring out their significant others and children to enjoy in the celebration of the life of Brianna as well the unification of the Nissan family.

There was a question on driver about what happened so I figured that I post it over here as well:

Hard times for this family nice to see you guys doing something for them, awesome. I will keep them in our prayers, loosing a loved one specially a child is horrible.

It's okay, I was going to include a bit more background in the initial post, but I didn't want it to get too cluttered with information. :)

Basically a group of kids were attending a horse riding camp and was taken up there by a family friend. All the kids were having fun as usual. Apparently the family friend that drives the kids up to camp usually puts all of the kids in the back of her pick-up truck (TX law is different) and goes in to the river bed/open area nearby and has fun. Unfortunately, on this occasion the pick-up flipped over and threw all of the kids out of the bed of the truck. One kid suffered a broken arm, one a punctured lung, but Brianna unfortunately passed away on the scene.

What makes it heartbreaking is the fact that she is only 11 years old and never had a chance to fully live her life. Her younger brother was also in the back of the pick-up truck with her and had to witness his sister pass away. The parents of Brianna are humanitarians by heart since they have adopted a handful of kids from Asia etc. Brianna is their biological baby girl and the father is in pieces over this tragedy. The funeral costs are going to be expensive, so when I saw this I wanted to surprise Brianna's father by possibly helping their family out with funeral costs. Although, it will not bring his daughter back I just wanted to show their family that other people do care and are willing to help.

WOW, Just WOW. Life's a biatch sometimes.

A worth-while meet, combining fun-ness + showing our respects and helping others, can't get better than that.

Yeah, sometimes life is not fair. Hopefully, we can help their family cope with it a bit by providing a little financial support during these trying times.:)

Thanks girl. We'd love to have you. This should be bigger than the Infamous meet back in February and much more comfortable with it being at a park.
