I ask about the weather only because of temperature limitations of hi-po street tires. Looks doable. Y'all just might see me.

Definitely a possibility. It'll likely be a bit chilly, but should be good for a mildly spirited run through the dragon, cherohala, and moonshiner.
You can also do the diamondback with the snake (rt80), stay in little switzerland. It's about 2h closer, but the roads are very good as well.

There is a 'meet' scheduled at the Tail of the dragon on Oct 6th, Saturday. Its called 'Attack the Dragon' there is a facebook page for it, and this is the 11th time its been held.

I know 4 cars going not including myself, anyone interested in this date and event?

I've seen a few nice G35 coupes but almost all the G37s I see are stock; mostly X sedans.

Picking up my BLK 2012 G37S 6MT sedan end of the month 52k miles. I’m in Durham 5 mins from Briercreek area moved to NC from the BX
