Charlotte area tune, dyno, and installation

Is there anyone in Charlotte who has a lot of experience with Nissan and Infiniti tuning? I only know of three shops off the top of my head, and 1 seems to specialize in Nissan.

Speed Styles - Jack of all trades
Motion Lab - seems more of a Subaru/Mitsubishi shop
Soho Motorsports - looks like a Nissan shop, promotes the VQ35 a lot

Has anyone used any of them for tuning or installation work? Any direct experience with Soho?

Someone told me the Roush shop up in Mooresville works on other cars besides Ford. Not sure if that's true or not...

I loved going to CIN Motorsports. I was so disgusted with the dealership that I was about to sell my G. Then I found CIN and they did some huge improvements for me, including a new catback (the dealership wouldn't fix the exhaust rattle since I was a few thousand out of warranty), a tune and a few other things. Always enjoyed my visits there. Loved everyone's enthusiasm, too - made owning the car fun.

Unfortunately, it seems that they are closed.

I am approaching 80K, so I suspect I will be looking at some clutch and brake improvements next.

From what I can tell, Soho Motorsports might be my best option. Thoughts from the local members?

And anyone know what happened to CIN or if they are still an option? I really liked working with them and all the people at the shop. PMs on that question are welcome.

Bumping an old thread, but Motion Lab is a sponsor over on the370z.com

Someone on here has an etune from them.

I keep meaning to call them and get a price on bleeding the clutch....

Since CIN closed there is a vacuum in Charlotte. SOHO is a viable choice but most folks want a choice. Check out the Carolina Z Club at our monthly meetings at Cars and Coffee and listen to our discussions. Come over and introduce yourself - we are always looking for new members. Check out our website and facebook site. See you Saturday morning.

I drove by motion lab today during lunch and heard a most glorious sound coming from the dyno area in the back.

Hit up SOHO Motorsports. They've did all the work on my G37 from 60K to 200K. Ecutek/Uprev tunes, AWD dyno, Fast Intentions TT 370z shop car.

Thanks! I'll check em out.
Is there a Charlotte G group? Cars and Coffee still going on?
I probably shouldn't look at other Gs as I'll get mod ideas, but curious nonetheless.

No real G group. Few of us in Carolina Z Club and VQFamily Charlotte. Last really modded one around was IPL 370GT but he is about that GTR life now. Most are just coil overs, wheels and maybe a few bolt ons, so your wallet should be pretty safe for now.

Cars and Coffee still first Saturday of every month year round, I think you asked about that in another thread. Also CZC has their annual show this Sunday, probably be the most G's together for a while.

I did ask already, and missed it last weekend. Bah.
I'll try to make it out tomorrow though.
Thanks for keeping an eye out on this forum section!

That was a pretty good turnout yesterday - thanks for the tip, @Photo-M-E .
I was amazed at how many people run spacers on their wheel setups! Didn't think it was a very popular option, but I was clearly wrong.
A couple of really clean supercharged Zs definitely caught my eye.

My vert made it into an aerial shot on fb - blue one in the very top left corner. haha.

I guess I could post that full resolution too. I was out there playing with gear, in the dirty blue slate G37 on the end of the G row.

Ha! I probably saw you too.. Next time I'll make a point to say hi.

Mine is up / center of this pic, directly below the trailer.

Only one other G vert was there - white IPL with red leather. Looked nice, but nothing specially, really. Guess verts aren't very popular with this crowd.

Took the car to soho for sway bars and other minor stuff. These guys know what they are doing and have great customer service. Thanks for the reference.
